Chuck Olson, Head - North America
Chuck has, for twenty years, pioneered innovative use of technology in education. In the past he founded and sold Quickdot Corporation. He also worked as CEO Learning Technology Group at Simon and Schuster, as CEO Learningways division at Davidson & Associates and as Director at Lotus Development Corporation.
Mr. Olson's keen product vision has been instrumental in the development of numerous educational software products, including MathProcessor and Science DiscoveryWorks for Simon & Schuster, GeoBlaster for Davidson & Associates and Bank Street Writer for Broderbund and Scholastic. He was instrumental in the development of Prentice Hall's ground breaking Interactive Math series.
Ashutosh Garg, Head – Operations
Ashutosh has an MBA in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur. He started his career with Bank of America in the Investment Banking Division and apart from trading, he was heavily involved in developing systems for helping traders and management in analyzing markets, trading performance and managing risk. Ashutosh has been interested in the use of technology for training and has developed several interactive tools and real-time games & applications for training professionals.
Joy Sarbadhikary, Head – Development
Joy received his B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi. He was also a recipient of the Summer Undergraduate Research Award at IIT-Delhi. Under this award he designed and implemented a “Content Addressable Parallel Processor” which won the award for the best design at the 7th International Conference on VLSI Design, 1994. His graduating project, "Assuring Quality of Service in Asynchronous Transfer Mode Networks", won the Suresh Chandra Memorial Award for the best B.Tech Project. Joy also has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad and worked as a banker in one of the largest American banks where he was responsible for developing systems that helped improve reporting and control.
Anand Balaji, VP, Engineering
Anand has a first degree in commerce and subsequently completed degree in Computer Science from NIIT where he was awarded the NIIT gold medal for academic excellence. Anand provides the overall technical guidance for all of the different technology teams in the company and architecture of new products and platforms. Anand has also played a pivotal role in the creation of a proprietary web based simulation technology and player that currently powers two of the top three products for desktop productivity assessment in the higher education market in the United States.
